Filming of Automated Robotic Packaging Machinery at Customer Sites

We started off filming automated robotic and packing machinery with TBS back in 2017, and we have a keen eye for detail, and have specialised in this field ever since. Because of the increasing growth of automation in manufacturing and food production, capital equipment manufacturers face competition from China for the very same equipment, and it is becoming increasingly necessary to use marketing tools to increase sales.

Demonstrative video productions are critical in sales meetings, to better communicate the machines capability and ROI. We have made a fine art of filming each process in the very best quality, with smooth camera motions and using text graphical overlays where necessary. Animations can be added to illustrate internal processes which are not visible to the eye.

Video Equipment and Aerial Drones

We are CAA licenced to operate and capture aerial footage, and we usually capture aerial footage of the facility as a standard. It can make a great opening scene for your video, before we get to presenting the machine itself.

We film our video productions with small ground cameras, which can provide professional standards of recording. 4K is the accepted standard, and we’ll often shoot at 100 frames per second, as you know how fast your robots can complete tasks! We like to avoid motion blur too much and show clear footage of the process, and this way we can slow the footage down if need be, to allow your client to observe the automated process in greater detail.

The Filming Process

We will plan what footage we need to capture on the phone or by email, and then turn up on the agreed date. We use full PPE on-site to meet the requirements on-site. We film the machine which can take from 2-4 hours, and then take the footage back to our studio for editing, and we’ll send you a sample of the footage in it’s temporary state for you to have your input on the arrangement and cutting/cropping of footage. With this information, we can proceed to finish the video and add sound/ music and graphics. After a final review, we can then send the footage using WeTransfer. This video production will be suitable for social media, and streaming to screens, or playing from a flash drive in a smart TV.
