Defence Sector Video Production

We started working with a defence contractor in mid-2019. We began with video production for their website homepage, and then provided the photography of their manufacturing process. Our client later asked us to redesign their website, which we did.

To this date, we continue to provide product photography and video production for this client. The new series of videos will concentrate on their military products, which will gain them exposure and potential clients on Linkedin. The videos will also be on their website; each product page with its own photography, video, specifications, and description. Ultimately, it is about helping them gain organic clients without paying for advertising as their main source of traffic. We do not include defence sector work on our portfolio, given the nature of this industry.

Working with the defence industry involves signing non-disclosure agreements, and keeping photography and video files encrypted. We take extreme care to protect data and sensitive information.

Defence Industry Video and Marketing

There are many SME’s in the defence sector; most of these are using video production on Linkedin and for their website. With video production, you can stand out from the rest of your competitors with regular marketing videos, product videos with interview segments. It makes sense to use video, and video can be a powerful tool to communicate with clients and gain potential customers with ease. An advert on Linkedin can reach 12% of the world’s population. 4 out of 5 people on Linkedin drive business decisions, so it makes absolute sense to produce videos specifically for this.

We currently have a package that we provide our main defence client, for regular visits to provide filming, photography for your main products. Once done, we can deliver your content electronically in a safe manner.

At current, the UK is committed to spending a minimum 2% of GDP on defence until 2029, and at least 20% of that spending on equipment. This commitment represents spending some £186 billion on defence equipment and support.

From Planning to Filming.. and Yes, We Use The 7 Ps of preparation.

We like to get everything right, and we have the expertise and the tools to do so; before we do any filming, we are happy to visit you and sign an NDA right away, before you commit to telling us more about your filming.

Once we have signed an NDA, let us know what it is that you need, and we will suggest a filming date. We are qualified CAA UAV drone pilots; so we can provide crisp aerial photography and footage for your video production too.

We’ll plan together on a production that can bring us results, then work to a shot list to make sure we have the footage we need. The filming usually takes 4-6 hours, and the rest is done in post-production in our studio. We do provide professional photography, as our cameras can do this brilliantly. We can provide examples of this upon request.

We are fully insured for filming onsite, as well as piloting a drone.

William Cross – Group Sales Manager

‘We are in the business of large Capital Equipment manufacturing for the Battery Industry. The completion from a successful customer inspection only allows a small window for promotional work such as videos, which Luke assisted us greatly. His approach to this bespoke nature of Industrial filming was exceptional and we have continued to develop our working relationship on a range of other projects. I cannot speak highly enough of his character, work ethic and look forward to working on our Robot Plate Loader in May this year.’
